Solder Ring Fittings
High quality Water Research Council (WRC) approved copper solder ring capillary fittings.,Suitable for connecting copper tubes in accordance with BS2871 Part 1 and ISO 274. These potable solder ring fittings are manufactured in accordance with BS864 Part 2 and are a lead-free joint. The solder complies with BS219 Grade 99C. These products use the principle of capillary action to ensure that, when correctly joined to copper tube, a sufficient layer of lead-free solder is present between tube and fittings to form a mechanically strong, leak proof joint without the need for external solder application. Threaded components are in accordance with BS864 Part 2.,These fittings may be used with potable water, light mineral oils, natural or liquid petroleum gases or compressed air.
