Part M Compliant
Part M covers the entry and use of all building structures and facilities by disabled people, whether visiting, working or dwelling in them. This range of switches and socket outlets enables compliance with Part M, however the onus on following the regulations is with the specifier or contractor. One of the many recommendations is that there is a contrast of 30% Light Reflectance Value (LRV) between a frontplate and wall (white has an LRV of 100 and black 0). This range of switches and sockets has graphite frontplates for contrast to walls with an LRV of 70 or more.
