When mated or covered, the IP68 rating makes them ideal for use in process control, marine, medical instrumentation, transportation, industrial electronic applications and similar hostile environments.,A polarising keyway and 1//4 turn locking mechanism prevent misalignment and unintentional disconnection. Cable mounting assemblies feature a snap-in place strain relief mechanism. Thermoplastic rubber boots push fit over the rear of the connector and provide further strain relief for cables up to 6.7mm dia.Optional protective cap available separately for panel plugs and sockets when not in use.
